In 1978 our founder, Ed Zach, began selling quality kitchen materials to contractors from a mobile office in his car. By May of 1979, Ed expanded the E-Z Kitchens operation by opening a physical store on South Burlington Avenue in Hastings, Nebraska.

In 1984 the business had quickly grown and it was time for the next generation of Zach family to lead. Ed continued to help out and work for the company until his retirement in 1990. Under the leadership of Dave Zach E-Z Kitchens expanded to a larger facility and a second store located in Norfolk, Nebraska in the 1980s.

Now with three E-Z Kitchens locations across the midwest, we’re proud to say that the same values that Ed started with, guide us today. We’re driven by honesty, integrity and excellence in service to make sure our customers can design the kitchen of their dreams.
